Since our beginning in 1917 as a rubber company manufacturing rubber gloves and toy balloons, Pioneer Balloon Company has evolved into a global company committed to providing the highest quality products, and unsurpassed service and education opportunities for balloon artists, designers, retailers, and consumers around the world. You are a big part of our success and the entire Pioneer Team invites you to join us for:

A Celebration of Pioneer’s First 100 Years
September 15-16, 2017
Wichita, Kansas

Friday night:
“It’s Time to Party!” at Pioneer’s Worldwide Headquarters.  Come casual and enjoy an evening of fun celebrations, plenty of food, good times, music, and laughter as you mingle with others. Attend the opening of an exhibit commemorating the balloon industry and Pioneer’s role in it, visit our creative department and learn how our creative staff designs products, packages and market support materials, and be sure to have your photo taken at the special celebration.

Saturday during the day:
There will be several GUIDED TOURS of the El Dorado plant, which is just a short 30 minute bus ride from Pioneer Headquarters. At our 220,000 sq. ft. facility, see how foil balloons are printed and converted, observe how Pioneer prints 2-3 million latex balloons per week, observe our new state-of-the-art packaging lines, and visit our busy warehouse from where we ship to over 100 countries.  Or, just spend the day visiting with friends and associates.

Saturday night:
We’ll wrap up the celebration at the WICHITA COUNTRY CLUB, with cocktails around the pool, weather permitting, followed by a great dinner and dancing.  No formal “stuff,” just good casual visiting and lots of fun.

All Pioneer locations will have representatives here to help you with any arrangements you may need and answer any questions you may have. Be sure to click on the various tabs listed above for details about accommodations and transportation, including maps indicating where the activities will take place. You will be our guest for the events on Friday and Saturday evening. We are also arranging for buses to take you from the Headquarters to El Dorado and back on Saturday.

There are also tabs that list some of the things to do and see in Wichita. You are encouraged to arrange your own transportation here and where you plan to stay.  The Wichita (Dwight D. Eisenhower National) airport is new and is serviced by many of the major carriers as well as car rental companies. We have reserved room blocks at selected hotels.

Most important, PLEASE use the RSVP tab above to let us know your intentions by June 1, 2017.

We look forward to seeing you in September!!!
