Continental American Corporation dba Pioneer Balloon Company seeks a full-time Compounding and Laboratory Manager for our Dallas Texas office. Duties include: Oversee Latex Chemistry by establishing, maintaining and revising formulations for latex manufacturing; Direct, guide and assist the Compounders and Lab Technicians; Continuously monitor and ensure that all Compounders and Laboratory technicians receive the training that is necessary to effectively and safely perform their job functions; Conduct employee evaluations for direct reports; Maintain compounding specifications and standards to ensure that the quality of the products is at or above company standards; Work on R&D projects, special projects and support the Production Department to ensure continuous product improvement and Work with vendors to maintain quality of incoming raw materials.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
Experience Requirements: Twenty four (24) months.
